For the past eleven years, Patricia has mentored women throughout the country by participating in Menttium, an organization that pairs high potential women with successful women executives. She is also currently leading a conversational English course in a San Jose public library, helping immigrant women and men to become more comfortable with their communication skills. While at Merrill Lynch, Patricia was recognized with several diversity awards, and served on committees and panels that focused on drawing more female advisors and clients to the firm.
For the past eighteen years, Rick has served as a board member for Academy of Friends and Friends of the Children SF, a mentoring program for inner-city children. Rick spent several years as co-chair for Tribute, the annual gala for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. He has also served as tree captain for Friends of the Urban Forrest and a community organizer for the Bernal-Glen neighborhood association. Currently, Rick serves the Horizons Foundation on a committee for special assets.
